I had a truly enjoyable stay at the resort, which is nestled on a lovely island in Georgia. The picturesque views really added to the serene experience. I appreciated the variety of activities available, making it a great getaway for families or couples. However, the bed in my room was a bit too firm for my taste, and the soundproofing could be improved as I could hear conversations in the hallway.
For a fantastic value, this resort offers a wonderful getaway that feels both family-friendly and fun! The enormous salt-water pool was a highlight for my kids, and the staff was attentive and so pleasant. While the food was decent and the dining a bit pricey, the complimentary snow cones were a sweet touch! I would consider opting for a villa or larger room next time as our pet-friendly room felt a bit cramped for our family of four. Overall, we had a memorable and enjoyable experience.
My recent stay at Lanier Islands was a mixed experience. Lake Lanier Islands Resort offers plenty of activities for families, beautiful views, and a variety of facilities, making it a great place for relaxation and recreation. However, the service could be improved, especially regarding staff training and responsiveness to guest needs, and there were some cleanliness issues noted during my stay. Overall, it feels like it has potential but requires some changes to reach its best offering.
